Care Instruction

Maintaining Your Haluxy Extensions in Top Condition:

  1. Prevent Tangles: Spritz your extensions with water or a wig conditioner to keep them tangle-free.
  2. Detangle Gently: Use a wide-toothed comb to gently detangle the outer layers of the extensions.
  3. Nourish Your Hair: After applying the extensions, enrich your hair with a generous amount of argan oil.
  4. Straighten Frizzy Ends: Use a straightening iron or immerse the extensions in boiling water to smooth out frizzy ends.
  5. Preserve the Shape: Post-use, ensure your extensions are hung in our extension care set for optimal breathability and protection against dust and tangles.

Steps to Cleanse Your Haluxyy Hair Extensions:

  1. Prevent Hair Loss: Start by combing from the ends of the hair to avoid hair loss.
  2. Shampoo Soak: Dissolve 1 tablespoon of shampoo in cold water and immerse the extensions for about 5 minutes.
  3. Massage Gently: With cold water, softly massage the extensions.
  4. Conditioning: Add 2 tablespoons of fabric softener or conditioner and let it sit for approximately 6 hours or overnight.
  5. Towel Dry: Pat the hair gently using a towel.
  6. Air Dry: Allow the hair to dry naturally instead of using a blow dryer.
  7. Comb Through: Use a wide-toothed comb to gently comb the hair starting from the end of the wig.
  8. Conditioner Spray: Lightly spritz wig conditioner on the hair.
  9. Final Result: After these steps, your extensions will regain their original shine and look as good as new!

Hair extensions do not need to be washed as frequently as natural hair. Since they don't receive the natural oils from your scalp, washing them too often can cause them to dry out and become brittle.

As a general rule, hair extensions should be washed every 15-20 wears, or when there is a significant product build-up to the point that they become unmanageable to style. However, this can vary depending on factors such as how much product you use on your extensions, the activities you do while wearing them, and your personal preference.
